 During any one year, over half of Americans go on a diet to lose weight. For many people, it is difficult to lose more than a few pounds and few succeed in remaining at the reduced weight. The difficulty in losing weight and keeping it off leads many people to turn to a professional or commercial weight loss program for help. |

Who We Are
The Weight Loss & Wellness Clinic has conducted extensive research of a number of different diets, diet pills and weight loss programs. Our goal is to find sensible and sustainable ways for overweight patients to lose weight, and to maintain a healthy weight on a long-term basis.
Neither the appetite suppressant nor the injection are requirements of the program. |

General Program Overview
Dr Girouard offers a low-calorie program which is explained in detail at a lecture on the first visit. After the lecture, each patient has a private office visit, at which time Dr Girouard will offer an appetite suppressant along with an injection [Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)], which promotes increased fat loss by aiding in breaking down fat cells, thereby reducing inches. |

Program Cost
The cost of the first office visit averages between $140 and $160, which includes $80 for the initial office visit, one month supply of the prescibed appetite supressant, and one month of injections.
Injections are given once per week at a cost of $10 each. They can be taken home, or you may come to the office to receive them.
The four week follow up visits average between $105 and $120 depending upon prescription and injections.

Program Duration
You are on the program for up to 4 months provided you consistently lose weight for those 4 months. After the 4th month, you will take a four week break from the medication, following which you are able to return to the program. |
